2011 TC 1 Mile

Minneapolis / MN - May 12, 2011 - The Medtronic TC 1 Mile will once again hosted the US National 1 Mile Road Championship.

Although it was a dark and rainy night, the winds were light and favorable. Preceding the Championship waves over 2,000 runners filled Nicollet Mall, and were cheered on by friends and work colleagues lining the damp streets.

The top female and male milers came to Minneapolis to go for the $10,000 bounty. Sara Hall of Mammoth Lakes, CA took home the big check with a time of 4:30.0 and David Torrence of Oakland, CA, logged at three-peat victory and took home his second check for $10,000.
