Challenge Copenhagen Triathlon 2011

August 14, 2011 - Copenhagen, Denmark In only the second year, the Challenge Copenhagen organization hosted over 2,000 individual athletes and relay teams to compete in the picturesque and historic Danish capitol.

With the location in one of Europe's most beautiful capitals both athletes and spectators can expect a magnificent and unique iron-distance triathlon.

The combination of historic metropolitan and idyllic countryside make this an exceptional experience, which has not been seen at an iron-distance triathlon anywhere else.

Aussies Tim Berkel won the men's race in 8:11:15 and Rebekah Keat won the women's race in 8:52:42, both repeating their winning performances from 2010.
