Lauren finished 10th in the Dextro Energy ITU World Championship Series event in Washington DC. After a disappointing swim, Lauren managed to clock the third fastest run split to move herself into the top-10. She followed up this race with her first ever World Cup podium finish at the Hy-Vee ITU World Cup in Des Moines, Iowa the following weekend, winning the Bronze medal.
